4 Wheel Disk Brake Conversion
5.0 L HO Swap w/o EFI by Darryl Lang
- I am in the middle of a very painful V6 to V8 swap in a 1974. Some things that worked for Darryl have not worked for me
- My original combo was an 1985 5.0 with a 1979 Granada (column shift) C4 (if anyone has advice on converting the column shift linkage to a floor shift linkage *retaining* my stock shifter in looks and placement (internals can be different) I'd love to hear them) I've gotten so many conflicting comments I've about given up thinking about it until we get to that point again.
- The bellhousing and torque converter were from the Granda
- It fits but is unbelievably tight
- I have just acquired a MII bellhousing and torque converter; with any luck that will give me more room
- The oilpan and motor mounts are from a V8 Mustang II
